Balau

Similar to Mahogany, but significantly more cost=effective. Used primarily in outdoor projects.

 

Birch

A fine hard wood, ideally suited to furniture applications.

 

Bird's Eye Maple

A beautiful hard wood with a complex grain/figuring. Best used for furniture.

 

Bubingo

A dark hard wood from Brazil.

 

Curly Maple

A wood, well suited to tables, chairs and other hard wearing applications.

 

Hickory

A light coloured wood, with a broad grain structure.

 

Panga Panga

A dark, highly figured hard wood from Moçambique.

 

Rhodesian Teak

One of the hardest woods, best for furniture applications.

 

 

Yolk Elm

An almost white hard wood from South America. Displays an excellent tight grain structure.
